Edit or delete a lot serial number rule

You can edit a lot serial number rule that you have already created. You can also delete a lot serial number rule that is no longer required.

To edit an existing lot serial number rule

1. Open the Auto Generate Lot Number Setup (LOTAGS) page.

   • Select Utilities > Company Setup > Production > Auto Generate Lot Number Setup.

   Or

   • Search for LOTAGS or Auto Generate Lot Number Setup in the Navigation box and then select Auto Generate Lot Number Setup.

   The Auto Generate Lot Number Setup (LOTAGS) page appears.

2. On the Toolbar, click Browse.

   The Browse For Auto Generate Lot Number Setup window appears.

3. Highlight the required rule and click Select.

4. Make the required changes.

5. On the Toolbar, click Save.

To delete an existing lot serial number rule

1. Open the Auto Generate Lot Number Setup (LOTAGS) page.

   1. Select Utilities > Company Setup > Production > Auto Generate Lot Number Setup.

   Or

   2. Search for LOTAGS or Auto Generate Lot Number Setup in the Navigation box and then select Auto Generate Lot Number Setup.

   Auto Generate Lot Number Setup (LOTAGS) page appears.

2. On the Toolbar, click Browse.

   The Browse For Auto Generate Lot Number Setup window appears.

3. Highlight the required rule and click Select.

4. On the Toolbar, click Delete.

   A message, Preparing to delete this information. Are you sure? appears.

5. Click OK to delete the rule.

   Click Cancel to cancel the deletion.
