Change or remove an association between a part's vendor and a manufacturer part

You can change or remove the association between a manufacture part and the vendor you use to purchase the part.

To change or remove an association between a part’s vendor and a manufacturer part

  1. Open the Vendor/Manufacturer Information (VNDMFR) page.

    • Select Production Management > Master Data > Vendor/Manufacturer Information.

    Or

    • Search for VNDMFR or Vendor/Manufacturer Information in the Navigation box and then select Vendor/Manufacturer Information.

    The Vendor/Manufacturer Information (VNDMFR) page appears.

  2. Locate the part whose association with a manufacturer you want to change or remove.

    1. Click Browse on the Toolbar.

      The Browse For Vendor / Manufacturer Information window appears.

    2. Highlight a row and click Select. Or, double-click the part.

      Click Cancel to exit from the Browse For Vendor / Manufacturer Information window.

  3. In the vendor list, highlight the vendor whose association you want to change or remove an association.

  4. To change an association:

    1. Make your changes.

    2. Click Save on the Toolbar.

  5. To remove an association:

    1. Click Deleteon the Toolbar.

      A message, Preparing to delete this information. Are you sure? appears.

    2. Click OK to continue.

      Click Cancel to retain the values.
