Change or remove units of measure (R1-NA)

Units of measure specify how Made2Manage tracks a part and assembly.

You cannot remove a unit of measure that Made2Manage uses for an inventory part or to define a part’s dimensions.

To change or remove units of measure

  1. Open the Units of Measure (UM) page.

    • Select Utilities > Company Setup > Production > Units of Measure.

    Or

    • Search for UM or Units of Measure in the Navigation box and then select Units of Measure.

    The Units of Measure (UM) page appears.

  2. Click Browse on the Toolbar.

    The Browse For Unit of Measure window appears.

  3. Select a value and click Select. Or double-click the unit of measure.

    Click Cancel to exit from Browse For Unit Of Measure window.

  4. To change the unit of measure:

    1. Make your changes.

    2. Click Save on the Toolbar.

  5. To remove the unit of measure, click Delete on the Toolbar.

    A message ‘Preparing to delete this information. Are you sure?’ appears.

    1. Click Yes to remove the value.
    2. Click No to retain the value.
