View a CAD drawing for a part

You can view a CAD drawing for a part within its item master.

To view CAD drawings, you need to have the CAD viewer installed on your computer.

To view a CAD drawing for a part

  1. Open the Item Master (INV) page.

    • Select Production Management > Master Data > Item Master.

    Or

    • Search for INV or Item Master in the Navigation box and then select Item Master.

      The Item Master (INV) page appears.

  2. Click Browse on the Toolbar.

    The Browse For Item Master window appears.

  3. Highlight a row and click Select.

    Click Cancel to exit from the Browse For Item Master window.

  4. Click the Engineering tab.

  5. Click the CAD Image 1, CAD Image 2, and CAD Image 3 lookup references to find the images you want to view.

  6. Click Save on the Toolbar to keep the changes.

    Click the download button at the end of the CAD Image 1, CAD Image 2, and CAD Image 3 boxes to download and view the inserted images.
