Change or remove associations between parts and manufacturers

You can make changes to the association between parts and their manufacturers. If you change the company you use to manufacture a part, you can remove the previous manufacturer’s association.

To change or remove associations between parts and manufacturers

1. Open the Manufacturer Parts (MFRPRT) page.

   • Select Production Management > Master Data > Manufacturer Parts.

   Or

   • Search for MFRPRT or Manufacturer Parts in the Navigation box and then select Manufacturer Parts.

   The Manufacturer Parts (MFRPRT) page appears.

2. Click Browse on the Toolbar.

   The Browse For Manufacturing Parts window appears.

3. Select a row and click Select. Or, double-click the item to select.

   Click Cancel to exit from the Browse For Manufacturing Parts window.

4. Highlight the manufacturer whose association with this part you want to change or remove.

5. To change information about a part or manufacturer:

   1. Make your changes.

   2. Click Save on the Toolbar.

6. To remove a part or manufacturer:

   1. Click the Delete icon in the Action column of the highlighted grid.

      A message, Are you sure you would like to delete this record? appears.

   2. Click OK to continue.

      Click Cancel to retain the values.
