Add a tool or a field kit to the parts you use to fulfill a service order
You can add a tool or a field kit to the parts you need to fulfill a service order.
Service orders for replacement parts need no tools.
To add a tool or a field kit to the parts you use to fulfill a service order

Open the Field Service Control (FSORD) page.
- Select Customer Relationship Management > CRM Transactions > Field Service> Field Service Control.
Or
- Search for FSORD or Field Service Control in the Navigation box and then select Field Service Control.
The Field Service Control (FSORD) page appears.

Click the Parts Information tab.

Click the Copy arrow on the child toolbar.

To add a tool:
Select the Add Tool option from the list.

To add a kit:
Select the Add Kit option from the list.
Next, you can add preventative maintenance items to this service order.
