Add percent complete billing information

After you select a type of progress billing for a quotation, sales order, multi-release item you must decide what percentage of a completed job to bill the customer by date.

You must complete this task before you can change the status to Open.

To add percent complete billing information

  1. Open the quotation or sales order.

  2. Click the Items tab.

  3. In the Item Number column, click the required item number hyperlink to open.

    The Item Details page appears.

  4. In the Unit Price field, enter the unit price.

    Or

    Click the Calculator icon to display the Calculator. Enter the required value.

    If it is a multi-release item, select the Multi-Release checkbox.

    Sales Order Release gets enabled.

  5. On the Toolbar, click Save.

  6. On Sales Order page, click the ellipsis under the Action column.

  7. Select Grid Actions > Sales Order Releases.

    The Sales Order Releases (SORELS) window appears.

  8. In the grid, select the row of the required release item.

  9. Under the Action column, click the ellipsis.

  10. Select Grid Actions > Progress Billing Detail.

    The number specifies the number of progress billing details created.

  11. The Progress Billing Detail (PBDTL) window appears.

  12. On the child toolbar, click New.

  13. In the Amount field enter a value. Or click the Calculator icon to display the Calculator. Enter the required value.

    The percentage in the Percentage field is automatically calculated.

  14. In the Date field, enter a date. Or click the Calendar icon to display the Calendar. Select the required date to bill the customer.

  15. Click Save to keep your changes.

    Click Cancel to discard your changes.
