Run job order queue for sales order items

Use the job order queue to generate a batch of job orders from open sales orders.

To run job order queue for sales order items

  1. Open the Job Order Queue for Sales Orders (JOQUES) page.

    1. Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Shop Floor > Job Order Queue > Job Order Queue for Sales Orders.

    Or

    1. Search for JOQUES or Job Order Queue for Sales Orders in the Navigation box and then select Job Order Queue for Sales Orders.

    The Job Order Queue for Sales Orders (JOQUES) page appears.

  2. On the toolbar, click Refresh Queue to regenerate the queue with your company’s latest information.

    A message This might take a while, do you wish to proceed? appears.

  3. Click Yes to refresh. Or click No to cancel.

    If you click Yes, Made2Manage refreshes the information and the message, Job Order Queue Regeneration for Sales Orders is complete appears. Close the message window.

  4. Select the sales orders for which you want to create job orders using one of the following methods:

    • In the Select column, select the checkbox that corresponds to each sales order to use.

    • Select the check box beside the column header of the Select column to create job orders for all the sales orders in the queue.

    • On the child toolbar, click Select Auto to create job orders for all sales orders that require automatic job orders.

    To deselect selected sales orders, clear the checkboxes in the Select column. To deselect all the selected sales orders, clear the checkbox beside the column header of the Select column.

  5. Select the Auto Release Job(s) checkbox, to automatically release the job orders to the production floor.

  6. On the child toolbar, click Create Job(s) to create the job orders.
