Close job order

Close a job order when you finish the job and have calculated the final costs associated with the work.

To close job order

  1. Open the Job Orders (JO) page.

    • Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Shop Floor > Job Orders.

      Or

    • Search for JO or Job Orders in the Navigation box and then select Job Orders.

    The Job Orders (JO) page appears.

  2. On the toolbar, click Browse.

    The Browse For Job Orders window appears.

  3. Select the required row and click Select. Or double-click the row.

    Click Cancel to exit from the Browse For Job Orders window.

  4. Click Status.

    The Job Order Change Status window opens.

  5. In the Status dropdown, select Completed.

  6. Set the date, identify yourself, and enter any comments:

    1. If today is not the date to close the job order, enter a date in the Job Status Changed Date box. Or click the Calendar icon to display the calendar. Select an appropriate date.

    2. In the by box, enter your initials.

    3. In the Comment box, enter your comments.

  7. Click OK.

    If you have not issued or ordered material for a part, Made2Manage shows you which parts need material. ClickOK or Cancel to continue.
