Record miscellaneous issue to job

Occasionally, you may need to issue to the job items that are not on the job’s bill of material.

To record miscellaneous issue to job:

  1. Open the Inventory Transactions (INVTR) page.

    • Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Inventory > Inventory Transactions.

      Or

    • Search for INVTR or Inventory Transactions in the Navigation box and then select Inventory Transactions.

      The Inventory Transactions (INVTR) page appears.

  2. On the toolbar, click New.

    Or if the transaction in the page is for recording a miscellaneous issue, you can base your transaction on it. Click Copy on the Toolbar.

  3. In the Transaction Type section, click Miscellaneous Issues.

  4. Click Accept.

    Click Cancel to exit from the Create New Inventory Transactions window.

  5. Specify transaction details:

    • Click the Facility dropdown and select the source facility.

    • Click the Part Numberlookup reference.

      The Lookup For Part Number window appears.

    • Select the row and click Select. Or, double-click the part number to use.

      Click Cancel to exit from the Lookup For Part Number window.

    • In the Issue Quantity box, enter the quantity to issue.

      Or click the Calculator icon to display the Calculator. Select the desired value.

    • If the date in the Date box is not the correct issue date, change it.

      Or click the Calendar icon to display the Calendar. Select the desired date.

    • In the Memo box, enter your comments.

    • Click the Facility dropdown and select the resident facility.

    • Click the Location lookup reference.

      The Lookup For Location window appears.

    • Select the row and click Select. Or double-click the part’s location.

      Click Cancel to exit from the Lookup For Location window.

    • If you have bins set up in Made2Manage, enter the part’s bin number in the Bin box.

      Or click the Bin lookup reference.

      The Lookup For Bin window appears.

    • Select the required row and click Select. Or double click the bin to use.

      Click Cancel to exit from the Lookup For Bin window.

    • Click the Location or Lot/SN lookup reference.

      The Lookup For Location or Lookup For Lot/SN window appears respectively.

    • Select the row and click Select. Or, double-click the part’s location or lot and serial number.

      Click Cancel to exit from the respective windows.

  6. Specify where to issue the items:

    • Click the Facility dropdown and select the destination facility.

    • Click the Job Number or the Sales Order Number lookup reference in the To area.

      The Lookup For Job Number or Lookup For Sales Order Number window appears respectively.

    • Highlight the row and click Select. Or, double-click the job order or sales order.from which to move the items.

      Click Cancel to exit from the Lookup For Job Number or the Lookup For Sales Order Number window respectively.

    • Click the Item lookup reference.

      The Lookup For Item window appears.

    • Select the row and click Select. Or, double-click the item and release.

      Click Cancel to exit from the Lookup For Item window.

  7. On the toolbar, click Save.

    Click Cancel to discard the changes.
