Change or remove a preventative-maintenance task for a machine
If you need to change the frequency at which a preventative maintenance task takes place, you can update the necessary information. You can also remove preventative maintenance tasks.
When you need to change or remove preventative maintenance tasks for more than one machine, you might find it easier to follow instructions for changing or removing a scheduled preventative maintenance task for more than one machine.
To change or remove a preventative maintenance task for a machine

Open the Preventative Maintenance (PMSHED) page.

Select Customer Relationship Management > Master Data >. Field Service > Preventative Maintenance.
Or

Search for PMSHED or Preventative Maintenance in the Navigation box and then select Preventative Maintenance.
The Preventative Maintenance (PMSHED) page appears.Or

Open the Preventative Maintenance page from the Machine page.

Select Customer Relationship Management > Master Data > Field Service > Machine.
Or

Search for MACHSER or Machine in the Navigation box and then select Machine.

Select More Actions > Actions > Preventative Maintenance

Click Browse.
The Browse For Preventative Maintenance window appears. -
Highlight a row and click Select.
Or double-click the preventive maintenance record of the machine whose preventative maintenance task you want to change or remove.
Click Cancel to exit from Browse For Preventative Maintenance window.

To change preventative maintenance information for a machine:

Make your changes.
- Click Save on the Toolbar.

To remove a preventative maintenance task for a machine:

Click Delete on the Toolbar.
A message, Preparing to delete this information. Are you sure?
appears.
- Click OK to remove the information. Click Cancel to retain the information.
