Change a machine's status
The system changes a machine’s status as events occur. You can change it manually if necessary.
For example, say a customer site returns a machine. You need to change the status from to be installed back to in stock since it has been returned.
To change a machine’s status

Open the Machine (MACHSER) page.

Select Customer Relationship Management > Master Data > Field Service > Machine.
Or

Search for MACHSER or Machine in the Navigation box and then select Machine.
The Machine (MACHSER) page appears.

Click Browse on the Toolbar.
The Browse For Machine window appears. -
Highlight a row and click Select.
Or double click the machine for which you want to change the status. Click Cancel to exit from Browse For Machine window.

Make the necessary changes.

Click the arrow at the end of the Status field and select the machine’s new status.

Click Save on the Toolbar.
