Specify parts as returnable or serviceable
Use this page to set whether parts need to be returned or repaired.
You can set whether individual parts are returnable in the Item Master (INV) page.
To specify a group of parts as returnable or serviceable

Open the Field Service Setup Information (CSFSM) page.
- Select Customer Relationship Management > Master Data > Field Service > Field Service Setup Information.
Or
- Search for CSFSM or Field Service Setup Information in the Navigation box and then select Field Service Setup Information.
Field Service Setup Information (CSFSM) page appears.

To specify whether a part should be returned from a customer site once the part is replaced:
- On the Toolbar, click More Actions. Select More Actions > Actions > Maintain Returnable Parts.
The Maintain Returnable Parts window opens.

To minimize the number of parts to select from, you can filter them by selecting the check box next to any of the following: Facility, Part Number, Part Description, Product Class, or Group Code.

In the Select Parts section.
Parts in the Returnable area are marked Returnable in the item master. Parts in the Non-Returnable area do not appear as Returnable in the item master.
You can also mark a part as returnable by selecting the Returnable check box on the Item Master (INV) page. For non-returnable parts, clear the Returnable check box.
- Click Save. The changes are saved.
Or click Cancel to exit from Maintain Returnable Parts window.
- Close the Maintain Returnable Parts window.

To specify whether a part is serviceable:
- On the Toolbar, click More Actions. Select More Actions > Actions > Maintain Serviceable Parts.
The Maintain Serviceable Parts window appears.

To minimize the number of parts to select from, you can filter them by selecting the check box next to any of the following: Facility, Part Number, Part Description, Product Class, or Group Code.

In the Select Parts section.
Parts in the Serviceable area will appear as Serviceable in bills of material containing the item. Parts in the Non-Serviceable area will not appear as Serviceable in bills of material.
You can also mark a part as serviceable by selecting the Serviceable check box on the Standard BOMs (BOM) page. For non-serviceable parts, clear the Serviceable check box.

Click Save. The changes are saved.
Click Cancel to exit from Maintain Serviceable Parts window.
