Add tool or field kit to parts

You can add a tool or a field kit to the parts you use to fulfill a service order.

Service orders for replacement parts need no tools.

To add tool or field kit to parts you use to fulfill service order

  1. Open the Field Service Control (FSORD) page.

    1. Select Customer Relationship Management > CRM Transactions > Field Service> Field Service Control.

    Or

    1. Search for FSORD or Field Service Control in the Navigation box and then select Field Service Control.

    Field Service Control (FSORD) page appears.

  2. Click the Parts Information tab.

  3. On the child toolbar, click Copy.

  4. Select the Add Tool option to add a tool.

  5. Select the Add Kit option to add a kit.

    Next, you can add preventative maintenance items to this service order.
