Mark a service order as completed

After you complete a service order, enter all the problem details into the order, and specify accounting information such as costs and labor, mark the order as completed.

Completing a service order makes all sales orders available for invoicing. After invoicing is complete and posted, the order’s status changes to closed.

To mark a service order as completed

  1. Open the Field Service Control (FSORD) page.

    1. Select Customer Relationship Management > CRM Transactions > Field Service > Field Service Control.

      Or

    2. Search for FSORD or Field Service Control in the Navigation box and then select Field Service Control.
      The Field Service Control (FSORD) page appears.

  2. Click the Status. Field Service Order Change Status page opens.

  3. Select Service Order.

  4. Click OK. A message Do you wish to change the status to Completed? appears.

  5. Click Yes.

    Now you can specify the problem’s resolution.
