What's New in AppCentral 26.05.02
With this release, AppCentral introduces enhancements to Customer Project Access, Intelligence Studio, Intelligent Workflow, and Connect.
Enhancement
Customer Project Access
Gantt Chart Tab A Gantt tab is available in the Project Detail view, between the Project Details and Project Tasks tabs. It displays project tasks as a color-coded timeline with:
- WBS hierarchy in a collapsible left panel
- Status color coding and progress bars for each task
- Owner avatars and status legend
- Filter by owner and status
- CSV export of the current view
Task Management
- The Task Detail drawer Related subtab includes read-only sections for Project Task Assignments, Dependent Tasks, and Preceding Tasks.
- The Edit button is hidden in the Project Task detail drawer.
- The Milestone field is displayed as read-only in the Task Detail drawer.
- A Project Task Assignment detail drawer is available, showing assignment details and related Task Time, History, and Files sections.
Actions Enhancements
- A New Action button is available on the Actions tab and in the Project Details Related subtab.
- Criticality is a required field when creating or editing an Action.
Decisions Enhancements
- A New Decision button is available on the Decisions tab and in the Project Details Related subtab.
- Criticality is a required field when creating or editing a Decision.
Issues Enhancements
- Priority and Impact are required fields when creating or editing an Issue.
- A Clone button is available in the Issue Detail drawer.
Risks Enhancements
- Impact is a required field when creating or editing a Risk.
- A Clone button is available in the Risk Detail drawer.
Filter, Search, and Sort Filter dropdowns, search, column sorting, and a refresh button are available on the Projects list page and all project tabs, including Tasks, Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions, and Files.
Searchable Lookup Dropdowns Owner (Customer) lookup fields in Risk, Issue, Action, and Decision forms are searchable by typing. Project Task and Issue lookups in Risk forms, and Project Task and Risk lookups in Issue forms, are also searchable.
Created By and Last Modified By The Created By and Last Modified By fields in Risk, Issue, Action, and Decision detail drawers now display the name of the logged-in AppCentral user.
Account Detail Drawer The Account Detail drawer shows only essential fields: Account Name, Account Manager, Phone, Account Manager Email, and Billing and Shipping Addresses.
Chatter Enhancements
- Users can delete their own posts and comments from the Chatter feed.
- Feed items can be bookmarked for later reference.
- View count and comment count are displayed on each feed item.
File Preview Clicking a file title in the Files tab opens a preview overlay with controls for downloading, viewing file details, uploading a new version, editing, deleting, and navigating between files.
Cross-Project Record Management
- Tasks, Risks, and Issues can be reassigned to a different project when editing. A confirmation dialog appears before the change is applied.
- Creating a Risk or Issue under a different project shows a confirmation before saving.
- The Project field in Task, Risk, Issue, Action, and Decision detail drawers displays as a clickable hyperlink.
- Issue numbers in the Risk Detail Related tab and Risk numbers in the Issue Detail Related tab are clickable hyperlinks that open the respective detail drawer.
Intelligence Studio
- Intelligence Studio automatically applies the AppCentral theme, switching to dark mode without requiring a separate toggle.
- When configuring a Salesforce Knowledge data source, authors can select the article visibility level to ingest: Internal, Customer, or External.
- Flow owners can schedule test cases to run on a recurring basis for automated regression testing and agent quality monitoring.
Intelligent Workflow
- A dedicated connections tab is available for adding AIP connections, with a corresponding trigger for AIP-driven flow execution.
- Dynamic webforms support multi-step definitions, a Visual Builder for up to 19 field types, regex validation, multi-column layout, dynamic dropdown options, and stepper navigation.
- Global Search results now display on the same page where the search is performed.
Connect
Change Request Improvements
- The Change Request tab defaults to showing Account Change Requests. When only one Product Line is available, it is automatically pre-selected.
- The default sort order shows the most recently created records first.
- Filter controls are reordered to match the column order in the table.
- A Related Cases column has been added to the Change Request list and CSV exports.
Support Cases The Status change and Escalate buttons in the Support Cases drawer have been repositioned to reduce the risk of accidental clicks.
Resolved Issues
The following issues have been resolved in this release.

| 789795 | Customer replies in the Support Case Chatter feed were displayed as encoded text. Replies now display as readable text. |
| 793712 | The Waiting on Release status was not visible in the Support Case view. The status now displays correctly. |
