What's New in AppCentral 26.04.02
With this release, AppCentral introduces SSO access for Partner Portal users, multi-account support for the Subscription and Billing pages, an AI-powered support banner, and a new Apparel application group. This release also includes enhancements to the All Apps page, Access Management, Connect, and version and notification displays, along with targeted performance improvements.
New Features
Partner Portal SSO Access
Partner Portal users can click the Partner Portal Open button and sign in automatically using their existing AppCentral credentials. This eliminates the need to enter separate login information when accessing the Partner Portal.
AI-Powered Support Banner
A banner promoting AI-powered support is displayed to all logged-in users in supported regions (excluding US Government). The banner includes a Learn More link and can be dismissed per session. It reappears on the next login.
Virtual AI Summit Banner
Users in the North America (East) region will see a banner promoting the Aptean Virtual AI Summit. The banner includes a Register Now link, supports dismiss per session, and reappears on the next login.
Enhancements
Subscription and Billing Pages
- The Subscription page supports account filtering for users with access to multiple accounts, consistent with the behavior already available on the Connect page.
- The Billing page displays information based on the selected account and supports account switching for multi-account users.
- The Contact Aptean action on the Billing page uses the selected account’s region rather than the partner account’s region.
- Users without multi-account access continue to see their default account’s data only.
All Apps Page
- Retail applications are now grouped under a new Apparel category instead of Other Apps. The Apparel group includes Aptean Retail AF&R, Aptean Retail AP, Aptean Retail Forecast, Aptean Retail MFP, Aptean Retail PLM, and Aptean Retail Planning.
- The Apparel group has a distinct color treatment for visual differentiation.
- Retail application icons have been updated to align with the current design direction.
- The application name “Aptean Retail Forecase” has been corrected to Aptean Retail Forecast, and its Solution Group is now set to Retail Planning.
Version History and Maintenance Notifications
- Version history entries are now grouped by product (AppCentral Core and AppCentral Intelligence) and by change type, with icons and colors to distinguish change types at a glance.
- Maintenance notifications follow the same product-based grouping structure, with consistent visual differentiation across both displays.
- The Version popup now displays the updated product hierarchy, including AppCentral Core and AppCentral Intelligence, with sub-groupings such as Insights and Agent Central where applicable. The popup title placement has also been updated.
Access Management
- Phone Number and Job Title are now required fields when creating a new user. Both fields are validated before the form can be submitted.
- Phone Number and Job Title are also validated when editing an existing user record, preventing these fields from being cleared and saved.
- Job Title entered during user creation now correctly syncs to the user’s record.
- Inactive users no longer appear in the contact selection list when creating a support case in Connect.
Promotional Banners
- An “Introducing AI-powered support” banner has been added for all logged-in users in all regions except USGov. The banner displays a title, description, and a Learn More link. Users can dismiss the banner for the current session, and it reappears on the next login. A feature flag in Admin Portal controls banner visibility globally and defaults to on.
- A Virtual AI Summit promotional banner has been added for users in the EAST (North America) region. The banner includes a Register Now call to action. Users can dismiss it for the current session, and it reappears on the next login. A feature flag in Admin Portal controls visibility and defaults to on.
Connect
The contact name list when creating a new support case is now filtered to show only active AppCentral-associated contacts. Users who are no longer active are excluded from the list.
Performance
Response times for high-concurrency usage have been improved across several areas of the application, including the homepage, Subscription page, integration events, and audit log views.
