Delete customer credit card information

You cannot change the credit card details stored for a customer. You can however delete the credit card information when it is not required. Use the Credit Card Information (CCINFO) window to delete the credit card details of a customer. You can open this window from the Accounts (CUST) page.

As the credit card details are stored in the payment gateway and not in Made2Manage, when you delete the credit card details, the card details are deleted in the payment gateway.

To delete customer credit card information

  1. Open the Accounts (CUST) page.

    a. Select Sales Management > Master Data > Accounts.

    Or

    b. Search for CUST or Accounts in the Navigation box and then select Accounts.

    The Accounts (CUST) page appears.

  2. Select the customer:

    a. On the Toolbar, click Browse.

    b. In the Browse For Accounts window, select the customer and click Select.

  3. On the Toolbar, click More Actions.

  4. Select More Actions > Actions > Credit Card Information.

    The Credit Card Information (CCINFO) window appears.

    TheCredit Card Information button is enabled only if the Payment Type value for the customer is Cash and the Pay By Credit Card checkbox is selected.

  5. Select the card that you want to delete:

    a. On the Toolbar, click Browse.

    b. In the Browse For Credit Card Information window, select the card ID of the card that you want to delete and click Select.

  6. On the Toolbar, click Delete.

    A message, Preparing to delete this information. Are you sure? appears.

  7. Click OK. The credit card details are deleted. Or Click Cancel to cancel deletion.
