Change or remove earnings codes

Sometimes you need to pay employees Someone who works for you. at more than one overtime rate. For example, you might want to specify overtime rates for holidays that differ from overtime for weekends. Earnings codes specify different pay rates that you can assign to employees. You can set different rates in Made2Manage.

To change or remove earnings codes

1. Open the Earnings Codes (ECODES) page.

   • Select Production Management > Master Data > Earnings Codes.

     Or

   • Search for ECODES in the Navigation box and then select Earnings Codes

   The Earnings Codes (ECODES) page appears.

2. To change an earnings code:

   • On the Toolbar, click Browse.

     The Browse For Earnings Codes window appears.

   • Select the row that contains the required earnings code, and click Select. Or double-click the row that contains the required earnings code.

   • Make your changes.

   • On the toolbar, click Save.

3. To remove an earnings code:

   1. On the toolbar, click Delete.

      A message, Preparing to delete this information. Are you sure? appears.

   2. Click OK to remove the overtime or other pay rate.

      Or click Cancel to retain the values.

      The next step is to apply the pay rate for an employee.
