Change actual costs for technician

You record the actual costs on the Service Order Record Time window available through the Field Service Control (FSORD) page and the Expense Details. After you enter this information, you can change the cost-related information.

To change actual costs associated with a technician working on a service order

  1. Open the Field Service Control (FSORD) page.

    Navigate Customer Relationship Management > CRM Transactions > Field Service> Field Service Control.

    Or

    Search for FSORD or Field Service Control in the Navigation box and then select Field Service Control.

    The Field Service Control (FSORD) page appears.

  2. On the Toolbar, click More Actions.

  3. Select More Actions > Actions > Service Order Actual Costs(FSACTC).

    The Service Order Actual costs(FSACTC) page appears.

  4. Select More Actions > Actions > Actual Technician Expenses.

    The Actual Technician Expenses window appears.

  5. Select the row that contains the required service order to change, and click Select.

    Or, double-click the row.

  6. To change actual costs:

    1. Select technician in the grid , click the ellipsis under the Action column.

    2. Select Grid Actions > Expense Details.

      The Expense Details pop-up appears.

    3. In Expense Details pop-up, enter actual cost in fields for each date and category.

      Rate/mile defaults from Default Mileage Amount setup in Field Service Setup Information (CSFSM), you can change it here if you need to use a different rate.

      Enter actual number of miles in Miles @ rate/mile, Mileage Amount will calculate automatically.

    4. Click Save.

    5. If you want to clear all expenses entered, click Clear Expenses to clear all expenses entered.
