Change or remove inspection code

You can change or remove inspection code at any time.

To change or remove an inspection code

1. Open the Inspection Codes (ICOD) page.

   1. Select Utilities > Company Setup > Production > Inspection Codes.

   Or

   2. Search for ICOD or Inspection Codes in the Navigation box and then select Inspection Codes.

   Inspection Codes (ICOD) page appears.

2. Open the inspection code:

   1. On the Toolbar,click Browse.

      The Browse For Inspection Codes window appears.

   2. Select the required row and click Select. Or double-click the inspection code you need.

      Click Cancel to exit from Browse For Inspection Codes window.

3. To change an inspection code:

   If you change an inspection code that you already used in a page, the code remains in that page with the original description.

   1. Make the necessary changes.

   2. On the Toolbar,click Save.

4. To remove an inspection code:

   If you remove an inspection code that you already used in a page, the code remains in that page, but its description is removed.

   1. On the Toolbar,click Delete.

      A message “Preparing to delete this information. Are you sure?” appears.

   2. Click OK to confirm.

      Click Cancel to retain the value.
