Setup the default approval list for engineering change orders

Use the Approval Maintenance List (ECOAPP) page to specify the users who can approve engineering change orders (ECOs).

To setup the default approval list for ECOs

  1. Open the Approval Maintenance List (ECOAPP) page.

    1. Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Quality > Engineering Change Management > Approval Maintenance List.

      Or

    2. Search for ECOAPP in the Navigation box and then select Approval Maintenance List.
      The Approval Maintenance List (ECOAPP) page appears.

  2. Add an user:

    1. On the grid toolbar, click New.

    2. Click the User Name lookup reference.

      The Lookup For User Name window appears.

    3. Double-click user you want to add or highlight the user and click Select.

      The initials of the selected user is displayed in the Initials field.

    4. From the Department list, select the department for which the user can approve the ECO.

      If you select Super User from the Department list, the user can approve the ECOs of any department.

    5. Select the Designated check box to indicate that the user is the designated approver for the department.

  3. On the Toolbar, click Save.
