Choose how to inform vendors, customers, and Made2Manage users of changes in an engineering change order's status
Engineering Change Management (ECM) lets you control changes you make to item masters, job orders, sales orders, standard bills of material, and standard routings. When you change the status of an engineering change order (ECO), Made2Manage sends a message to the ECO’s broadcast distribution list. Using this list, you can notify customers, vendors, and Made2Manage users through the Notifier system and/or your company’s email system.
To set messaging options

Open the Production (CSPROD) page.

Select Utilities > Company Setup > Module Setup > Production.
Or

Search for CSPROD or Production in the Navigation box and then select Production.
The Production (CSPROD) page appears.

Make the required changes.

Click the ECM tab.

In the Messaging area:

Select the Use Notifier check box to send messages using the Notifier system. Clear the check box if you do not want to send messages using the Notifier system.

Select the Use Email check box to send messages using your company’s email system. Clear the check box if you do not want to send messages through email.

On the Toolbar, click Save to keep your changes.
