Arrange a jurisdiction's sales tax authority codes

If you set more than one sales tax code in a jurisdiction to calculate on a cumulative basis, arrange the sales tax codes so they are listed together in the jurisdiction.

If you set all of a jurisdiction’s sales tax codes to calculate on an additive basis, you can list the codes in any order in the jurisdiction.

To arrange a jurisdiction’s sales tax codes

  1. Open the Jurisdictions (JURIS) page.

  2. Select Utilities > Company Setup > Finance > Jurisdictions.

    Or

    Search for JURIS in the Navigation box and then select Jurisdictions. Jurisdictions (JURIS) page appears.

  3. On the Toolbar, click Browse.

    The Browse For Jurisdictions window appears.

  4. Highlight a row and click Select.

  5. On the grid toolbar, click Move Up or Move Down to move the values to their new position.

  6. Click Save on the Toolbar to save your changes.
