Ship inventory from multiple lots

If you use lot control, you can track inventory that you ship.

To ship inventory from multiple lots

  1. Open the Shipping (SHIP) page.

    1. Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Shipping > Shipping.

      Or

    2. Search for SHIP or Shipping in the Navigation box and then select Shipping.

      Shipping (SHIP) page appears.

  2. On the Toolbar, click Browse.

    The Browse For Shipping window appears.

  3. Select a row and click Select. Or double-click the shipper to use.

    Click Cancel to exit from the Browse For Shipping window.

  4. Click the Items tab on the Shipping page.

  5. In the Item Number column, double-click the item number hyperlink to open the item.

    The Item Details page appears.

  6. Set information about the lots:

    1. Click the Lot/SN lookup reference to find the lot number for the items.

    Lookup For Lot/SN window appears.

    1. Highlight a row and click Select.

      Click Cancel to exit from Lookup For Lot/SN window.

      Or, type the amount for each lot of the shipment in the Lot Quantity area.

    : The lot quantity to ship corresponds to the unit of measure (U/M) specified in the shipping screen.

  7. Click Save on the Toolbar.
