Set information about items in a shipper

You can set information about the items in a shipper.

To set information about the items to ship

  1. Open the Shipping (SHIP) page.

    1. Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Shipping > Shipping.

      Or

    2. Search for SHIP or Shipping in the Navigation box and then select Shipping.

      Shipping (SHIP) page appears.

  2. Click Browse on the Toolbar.

    The Browse For Shipping window appears.

  3. Highlight a row and click Select. Or, double-click the shipper to use.

    Click Cancel to exit from the Browse For Shipping window.

  4. Click the Items tab.

  5. Click the Item Number hyperlink from the required row.

    Item Details page appears.

  6. Edit the Item Details.

  7. Enter the amount to ship in the Quantity field.

    Or, click the Calculator icon in the Quantity field to display a Calculator. Enter the required number.

  8. To assign serial numbers for the items you ship:

    1. On the Toolbar, click More Actions.

    2. Select Grid Accessories > Actions > Shipper Serial Numbers.

      The Assign Serial Numbers (SERL) page appears.

      You can select the serial number while shipping by clicking the Serial No lookup reference and this is enabled only if the shipper is created from ShipBackSO and the serial number is entered in RMA.

  9. Click New on the child toolbar.

    Create New SN window appears.

  10. Enter the serial number in the Serial Number field and quantity in the Quantity field.

    Or, click the arrows at the end of the Quantity field to increase or decrease the quantity by 1 value.

  11. Click Save.

  12. Click Save on the Toolbar.

    After you ship the items, set the shipper’s status to shipped. ​
