Update inventory with information you collect using the bar code system

You can update the on-hand inventory quantities and general ledger inventory accounts with the data captured by the bar code systems.

To update inventory quantities and general ledger accounts

  1. Open the Bar Code Physical Inventory (BCPINV) page.

    1. Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Shop Floor > Bar Code > Bar Code Physical Inventory.

    Or

    1. Search for BCPINV or Bar Code Physical Inventory in the Navigation box and then select Bar Code Physical Inventory.

      The Bar Code Physical Inventory (BCPINV) page appears.

  2. On the toolbar, click Post Collected Inventory to PHYINV.
