Set up Made2Manage to import quotations from estimating software

You can use estimating software to create quotations for the products that you sell. The first step is to set up Made2Manage to import the information.

To set up Made2Manage to import quotations

  1. Open the Sales (CSSALE) page.

    1. Select Utilities > Company Setup > Module Setup > Sales.

    Or

    1. Search for CSSALE in the Navigation box and then select Sales.
      The Sales (CSSALE) page appears.
  2. Click the Miscellaneous tab.

  3. In the Estimate File Imports area, enter the details of the third party estimating software that you use to create quotations for products you sell:

  4. In the Estimate Drive field, type the drive letter of the drive in which you store your estimating file.

    1. In the Estimate File Directory field, type the path and file name of the estimating software’s database.

    2. From the Estimate File Type list, select the database’s file type. Made2Manage allows you to import comma-delimited text files only.

  5. To notify all logged in users of the change made, select the Broadcast To All Users check box.

  6. On the Toolbar, click Save to save your changes.
