Add a variable price schedule
You can create a variable price schedule to use for a particular part or an entire product class. You can assign the price schedule to a sales code. When you add a quotation or sales order, you can select from the price schedules for a particular sales code. A variable price schedule lists price adjustments for up to nine ranges of volume or dollars sold.
A fixed price schedule lists up to nine fixed prices for a particular part.
To add a variable price schedule

Open the Variable Price Schedules (PRSCV) page.
- Select Utilities > Company Setup > Sales > Variable Price Schedules .
Or

Search for PRSCV or Variable Price Schedules in the Navigation box and then select Variable Price Schedules .
The Variable Price Schedules (PRSCV) page appears.

On the Toolbar, click New.
Or on the Toolbar, click Copy to base this schedule on the existing data dis- played on the page.

Set up the price schedule:

In the Sales Code list, select the sales code.
Or in the Sales Code list, click Edit to either add a new value or modify the existing one.

In the Facility list, select the facility.

In the Price Code field, type a name for the schedule.

In the Description field, type a description of the schedule.

In the Price Method list, select to use the price minus the adjust- ment, the cost plus the adjustment, or the price plus the adjust- ment.
Or in the Price Method list, click Edit to either add a new value or modify the existing one.

In the Range list, select Currency or Quantity to create ranges of currency or quantity.
Or in the Range list, click Edit to either add a new value or modify the existing one.

In the Adjustment list, select Currency or Percent to adjust the price by a fixed amount or by a percentage.
Or in the Adjustment list, click Edit to either add a new value or modify the existing one.

In the Quantity/Currency Range section, specify each quantity or currency range.
Or click the icon at the end of the field to display the Calculator. Enter the required value.Enter Range 100,200, 300, so on and 99,999,999.99.

In the Adjust Percentage/Currency section, specify the adjustment for each range.
Or click the icon at the end of the field to display the Calculator. Enter the required value.
Note: If the Selling U/M is different from the Inventory U/M, the user must enter price adjustments in the fields specific to the Selling U/M.
- On the Toolbar, click Save to keep the price schedule.
