Import a quotation from estimating software (R1-NA)

After you set up Made2Manage to import quotations from a third party estimating software (see the related information), you can create quotations from estimate files for products you sell.

To import a quotation from estimating software

  1. Open the Quotes (QUOTE) page.

    1. Select Sales Management > Sales Transactions > Quotes.

    Or

    1. Search for QUOTE or Quotes in the Navigation box and then select Quotes.

    The Quotes (QUOTE) page appears.

  2. Select the customer or prospect:

    1. Click New.

      1. Click the Customer Number lookup reference.

      The Lookup For Customer Number window appears.

    2. Highlight a customer number or name and click Select. Or, double-click the row to open.

    3. Click the Address Key lookup reference.

      The Lookup For Address Key window appears.

    4. Highlight the row and click Select.

  3. Complete the rest of the boxes on the Quote Information tab.

    If you use the multiple currency feature, you can change the currency for this quotation by choosing it in the Currency box in the Financial Information tab.

  4. Click Save on the Toolbar to keep the quotation.

  5. Click the User Defined tab to store details you do not find a place for on the Quote Information tab.
