Set production capacity

You can set the production capacity standards for your company.

If you have multiple production facilities, set the production capacity for each facility.

To set production capacity

  1. Open the Production Capacity (CSPC) page.

    1. Select Utilities > Company Setup > Module Setup > Production Capacity.

      Or

    2. Search for CSPC or Production Capacity in the Navigation box and then select Production Capacity.

      The Production Capacity (CSPC) page appears.

  2. Make the necessary changes.

  3. Set shift information:

    1. In the Shifts Per Day box, type or select the number of shifts to operate per day.

    2. In the Standard Minutes Per Shift box, type or select the number of minutes in a normal shift.

    3. In the Maximum Minutes Per Shift box, type or select the maximum number of minutes per shift.

    4. In the Shift One Start Time, Shift Two Start Time, and Shift Three Start Time boxes, type the start time for each shift.

  4. Set scheduling rules:

    1. In the Schedule Through the Next (Days) box, type or select the number of days through which to run a schedule.

    2. Optionally, in the Default Queue Allowance As % of Avg Queue Time box, type or select the percent of average queue time to schedule.

  5. In Maximum Simultaneous Operations area, for each shift, type or select the maximum number of operations that can run simultaneously in the entire plant during the shift.

  6. On the Toolbar, click Save.
