Change or remove a vendor

You can change the vendor information or change vendor status to Inactive. You can also remove the vendor details.

To change or remve a vendor

  1. Open the Vendors (VEND) page.

    • Select Production Management > Master Data > Vendor > Vendors.

      Or

    • Search for VEND or Vendors in the Navigation box and then select Vendors.

      The Vendors (VEND) page appears.

  2. Click Browse on the Toolbar.

    The Browse For Vendors window appears.

  3. Select a row and click Select. Or, double-click the row that contains the required vendor.

To change a vendor’s details

  1. Make the changes.

  2. On the Toolbar, click Save to save the changes.

To remove a vendor’s details

  1. On the Toolbar, click Delete.

    A message, ‘Preparing to delete this information. Are you sure?’ appears.

  2. Click OK to delete the details.

    Or click Cancel to retain the details.

    To change a vendor’s status to Inactive.

  3. Click the Status arrow, and select Inactive.

    The Vendors Change Status window appears.

  4. In the Remarks field, enter a comment.

  5. In the Date field, change the date as required.

  6. In the User field, type the user name of the user who is making the change.

  7. Click OK.
