Manually add job orders

If demand exists after you execute planning, you can add a new job through the Interactive Planning by Part page by clicking the Add Job button available on the header. The Add Supply (PSADDSUP) window appears. It shows the following data from the selected row of the Interactive Planning by Part page:

The schedule date for jobs that are not yet scheduled is always 01/01/1900.

To manually add job orders

  1. Open the Interactive Planning By Part (PSINTPLP) page.

    • Select Planning and Scheduling > P&S Production > Planning > Interactive Planning By Part.

    Or

    • Search for PSINTPLP or Interactive Planning By Part in the Navigation box and then select Interactive Planning By Part.

      The Interactive Planning By Part (PSINTPLP) page appears.

  2. Select the part:

  1. On the toolbar, click More Actions.

  2. Select More Actions > Actions > Add Job.

    The Add Supply window opens.

  3. Specify appropriate values in the following fields:

    a. In the Due Date field, specify the date by when the job must be completed.

    b. In the Quantity field, specify the quantity to manufacture.

    The quantity entered must not exceed the available capacity of the job’s resources.

  4. Click Save to save the job.
