Replace work center in standard routings

You can replace the existing work center in a routing with another. You can update one, some, or all routings with the new work center.

To replace work center in standard routings

  1. Open the Replace Work Center in Std Rtgs (REPLWC) page.

    1. Select Production Management > Master Data > Replace Work Center in Std Rtgs.

    Or

    1. Search for REPLWC or Replace Work Center in Std Rtgs in the Navigation box and then select Replace Work Center in Std Rtgs.

    The Replace Work Center in Std Rtgs (REPLWC) page appears.

  2. Select the existing work center:

    1. On the toolbar, click Browse.

      The Browse For Replace Work Center in Std Rtgs window appears.

    2. Select a row that contains the required work center and click Select. Or double-click the row that contains the work center to replace.

      Click Cancel to exit from the Browse For Replace Work Center in Std Rtgs window.

  3. Make the necessary changes:

    1. Click the New Work Center ID lookup reference.

      The Lookup For New Work Center ID window appears.

    2. Select the row that contains the new work center and click Select. Or double-click the row that contains the new work center.

      Click Cancel to exit from the Lookup For New Work Center ID window.

  4. On the child toolbar, select the checkbox beside the column header of the Select column to replace the work center for all parts in which the old work center was used.

    Or, select the checkbox that corresponds to the required part number in the Part No column, to select only one part for which you want to replace the work center.

  5. On the toolbar, click Save to keep the changes.
