Issue parts and assemblies to a job

After you release a job order, you can issue parts and assemblies to the shop floor for production.

To issue parts and assemblies to a job

1. Open the Issues to Job Orders (JOISS) page.

   • Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Inventory > Issues to Job Orders.

   Or

   • Search for JOISS or Issues to Job Orders in the Navigation box and then select Issues to Job Orders.

   The Issues to Job Orders (JOISS) page appears.

2. Click Browse on the Toolbar.

   The Browse For Issues to Job Orders window appears.

3. Select a row and click Select. Or, double-click the job order to use.

   Click Cancel to exit from the Browse For Issues to Job Orders window.

4. Make the necessary changes.

5. Click the Change Qty to Issue to Zero if you only want to issue a few items.

   The label changes to Change Qty to Issue to Remaining.

   Or click the Change Qty to Issue to Remaining if you want to issue the total quantity for most of the items.

   The label changes to Change Qty to Issue to Zero.

6. For an item for which to issue a specific quantity:

   1. Click the Quantity To Issue box for the line item to issue.

   2. Type the amount in the box Or click the icon at the end of the box to display the calculator. Select an appropriate value.

7. Click Save on the Toolbar.
