Use a purchasing queue filter

A purchasing queue filter lets you view the purchasing needs for just a particular area of your company. After you create a purchasing queue filter, you can save it and use it again to view the purchasing needs you specified.

Create the purchasing queue filter first.

To use a purchasing queue filter from the Purchasing Queue Filter (PQFILT) page

  1. Open the Purchasing Queue Filter (PQFILT) page.

    • Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Purchasing > Purchasing Queue Filter.

      Or

    • Search for PQFILT in the Navigation box and then select Purchasing Queue Filter.

      The Purchasing Queue Filter (PQFILT) page appears.

  2. Select the purchasing queue filter:

    1. On the Toolbar, click Browse.

      The Browse For Purchasing Queue Filter window appears.

    2. Select a row and click Select. Or, double-click the purchasing queue filter to use.

  3. On the Toolbar, click Regenerate Queue.

    A message, Do you wish to regenerate the Purchase Queue? appears.

  4. Click Yes to confirm.

    A message, Purchase Queue Regeneration is complete. n part numbers are in the Purchasing Queue. (where n is the number of part numbers) appears.

  5. Click Close to close the information box.

    To use a purchasing queue filter from the Purchasing Queue Summary (PQSUMM) page

  6. Open the Purchasing Queue Summary (PQSUMM) page.

    1. Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Purchasing > Purchasing Queue Summary.

      Or

    2. Search for PQSUMM or Purchasing Queue Summary in the Navigation box and then select Purchasing Queue Summary.

      The Purchasing Queue Summary (PQSUMM) page appears.

      The Purchasing Queue Summary page has two grids: Summary and Details.

  7. Select the purchasing queue filter:

    1. On the Toolbar, click Browse.

      The Browse For Purchasing Queue Summary window appears.

    2. Select a row and click Select. Or, double-click the purchasing queue filter to use.

  8. On the header, click Regenerate Queue.

    A message Do you wish to regenerate the Purchase Queue? is displayed.

  9. Click Yes to confirm.

    A message, Purchase Queue Regeneration is complete. n part numbers are in the Purchasing Queue. (where n is the number of part numbers) appears.

  10. Click Close to close the information box.
