Regenerate the purchasing queue

You can regenerate the purchasing queue to update it with the new purchasing needs. You can also view the purchasing queue without updating it.

You can select to view specific purchasing queue information through a purchasing queue filter.

To regenerate the purchasing queue:

  1. Open the Purchasing Queue Filter (PQFILT) page.

    • Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Purchasing > Purchasing Queue Filter.

      Or

    • Search for PQFILT in the Navigation box and then select Purchasing Queue Filter.

      The Purchasing Queue Filter (PQFILT) page appears.

  2. To display information in the purchasing queue without updating it:

    1. On the Toolbar, click More Actions.

    2. Select More Actions > Actions > Display Queue.

  3. To regenerate the purchasing queue so you can see the most current needs:

    1. Click the Regenerate Queue on the Toolbar.

      A message, ‘Do you wish to regenerate the Purchasing Queue?’ appears.

    2. Click Yes to regenerate.

      The purchasing queue regenerates.

      Click No to exit.
