Add vendor items to an RFQ from Request for Quote
An RFQ is created from an existing RFQ where you enter an RFQ number.
To add vendor items to an RFQ from Request for Quote

Open the Request For Quote (RFQ) page.

Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Purchasing > Request For Quote.
Or

Search for RFQ or Request For Quote in the Navigation box and then select Request For Quote.
The Request For Quote (RFQ) page appears.

On the Toolbar, click Copy.

Select Request For Quote from the list.
The Copying Request For Quote window appears.

Select any one RFQ Number from the list.
Or by default, the first blank row is selected. This enables you to enter the RFQ number in the Rfq Number column.
If there is a sequence of similar values either beginning or ending with then the numbers are filtered and listed in the window.

Click Select from Copying Request For Quote window.
Click Cancel to close the window.
This returns to the Request For Quote [RFQ] page.
Click Cancel to delete the values entered in the Request For Quote [RFQ] page.

By default, the RFQ Date is displayed.

Enter the Return By date. Or, double-click to populate the value in the field.

Click Save on the Toolbar.
Items imported from the Source Transactions (RFQ/Quote/SO) are populated in the Items area automatically.
Vendors attached to the respective Items in Inventory (INV) page are populated in the Vendors List.
If no vendors are attached then the vendor list will be empty.
All Attachments (Documents) of the source transactions (RFQ/Quote/SO) will also be carried over to the Attachment area. To view the attachments:

On the Toolbar, click More Actions.

Select More Actions > Accessories > Attachment.
The Attachment page appears.

Click the Items tab to add items to the RFQ. For more information, see Add items to an RFQ.

Click the Vendors tab to add vendors to the RFQ. For more information, see Add vendor details to an RFQ.
