Check a part's location and on-hand quantity

You can check a part’s location , total on-hand quantity, or on-hand quantity by location.

Non-nettable quantities are not considered available. Therefore, this On-Hand by Location window’s quantity available field does not include non-nettable quantities.

To check a part’s location or on-hand quantity

  1. Open the On-Hand by Location (INVOH) page.

    • Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Inventory.

    Or

    • Search for INVOH or Item Master in the Navigation box and then select Item Master > On-Hand by Location.

    The On-Hand by Location (INVOH) page appears.

  2. Click Browse on the Toolbar.

    The Browse For On-Hand by Location window appears.

  3. Select a row and click Select. Or, double-click the part.

    Click Cancel to exit from Browse For On-Hand by Location window.

  4. In the Rev area, select Select Revision.

  5. Click the Rev lookup reference.

    Lookup For Rev window appears.

  6. Highlight the row and click Select to select a revision to view, or select all revisions. Or double-click the row for use.

    Click Cancel to exit from Lookup For Rev window.

  7. To print this information:

    1. On the Toolbar, click More Actions.

    2. Select More Actions > Reports > Inventory On-Hand by Location.

      The report is displayed in another tab

  8. After you finish viewing the information, close the tab.

Note: By default, the on-hand quantities are displayed in the Inventory U/M. If a part has a Selling U/M different from the Inventory U/M, additional dropdowns appear to select the appropriate Selling U/M and its corresponding Packaging U/M.
