What's New in Version 8.04 August 2025 Release
Enhancement: Consistent Decimal Rounding in Margin Analyzer Export
The Margin Analyzer export now rounds numerical values, including percentage columns, consistently to two decimal places. This change aligns exported data with the values displayed in the UI, eliminating discrepancies in decimal precision.
Enhancement: Attachment Support for GL Journal Entry and Bank Reconciliation Screens
An attachment option has been added to the Accessories section under More Actions in the GL Journal Entry (GLJE) and Bank Reconciliation (BANKREC) screens. Users can upload supporting documents, such as Excel spreadsheets, to improve traceability and audit readiness for journal entry calculations and bank reconciliations.
Enhancement: Enhanced Lookup Support for Items by Name or Description in SO, Quote and Labor Screens
The search functionality in the grid row detail section of the Sales Order, Quote, and Labor screens has been improved to allow searches by part description without requiring an exact word order or special characters. This enhancement improves item lookup efficiency and aligns with user expectations for intuitive search behaviour.
Enhancement: Clearer Button Label in Cash Receipt Invoice Selection
In the Cash Receipt Invoice Selection screen, the button label has been updated from Edit the Customer Invoice to Edit Invoice List to better reflect its purpose and reduce user confusion.
UI Enhancement – Redesigned Interaction Flow for SFMWC (Shop Floor Manager Work Center Console)
This enhancement is a re-deployment of the usability improvements introduced last month. In the Shop Floor Manager Work Center Console (SFMWC) screen, the JO Details pane has been moved to the Actions column and is now accessible by selecting the [Eye Icon]. This change allows the job order grid to use the full screen width by default. Additionally, actions such as Clock On Job, Clock Off Job, Clock On Team, Clock Off Team, JO Complete, Issue Material, and Move To Inventory now open in pop-up dialogs, ensuring all fields and action buttons are fully visible without scrolling.
Resolved Issues
The following issue has been fixed in this release:
| ID | Description |
|---|---|
| DEV-271947 | When a planned purchase order with multiple releases is created, changing its status and printing it may sometimes result in the releases and items appearing in the wrong sequence. In some cases, only the release order is affected. |
| DEV-278811 | A display issue occurs when expanding or collapsing the detailed BOM for standard parts that include phantom components; certain lower-level BOM items remain visible even after using the Collapse All function. These items are incorrectly displayed under the top-level structure, which confuses the BOM hierarchy view. |
| DEV-278839 | An error occurs when saving an invoice if the auto-generated accounting year description exceeds the 50-character limit. The system should ensure that the description is automatically truncated to comply with the field constraint. |
| DEV-280742 | In Production Analyzer, applying the “Earliest Date From” filter alongside a part number may return no results if the job’s actual release date is set to ‘01/01/1900’. This is due to the stored procedure using the earliest release date from JOMAST, which leads to incorrect filtering. |
| DEV-280778 | When a filter is applied to a widget in the M2M Dashboard, the dropdown remains open after selection, blocking user actions such as saving or canceling. A screen refresh is required to restore normal functionality. |
| DEV-281993 | On the Bar Code Grace Periods screen, grace period times entered and saved are not being stored in UTC format in the database. This misalignment causes the grace periods to be applied incorrectly during system processing. |
| DEV-282681 | In version 8.0, importing a customization package that modifies the JODBOM table causes the PO screen to throw an “Invalid column name JODBOM” error when adding a line item from a Job Order. This occurs because certain code executes only when form and field customizations are present. |
| DEV-283525 | Clicking the calendar icon in date fields no longer displays the forward weeks for quick selection, requiring users to navigate month by month using arrows. This change affects usability, as focus is lost when attempting to select dates across weeks. |
| DEV-254046 | Generating reports in Excel format, such as the RPUSER report, experiences significant delays in environments with a large number of users. The performance degradation is attributed to the system’s handling of high user volumes during report rendering. |
| DEV-287151 | RPQTE - Quotation Document generation may encounter formatting issues when multi-line comments are present in Delivery Commitment, Salutation, or Billing Info sections, especially when detailed primary contact information is included. |
| DEV-288228 | In the Work Center Console, attempting to clock off job orders with the “Parallel” job type causes the screen to fluctuate when selecting any line other than the first. This prevents users from clocking off the intended job, impacting operational efficiency. |
| DEV-267078 | When attempting to print large check batches (60–70 checks) in the APPCHK screen, the system encounters a connection timeout error, causing the check run to fail and waste check stock. |
| DEV-284923 | An exception is encountered when launching the Made2Manage application after resetting the password via the Forgot Password link. The issue requires the user to exit and relaunch the application to proceed with login successfully. |
