List View Implementation

As part of the M2M ERP modernization, the traditional Browse button has been removed and replaced with the new List View interface across all applicable screens—offering a more consistent, scalable, and user-friendly experience for data management.

List View enables users to search, sort, and filter records using a built-in Search panel and filtering tools, eliminating the need for the older browse mechanism. This provides better performance, usability, and alignment with current UI/UX standards.

Progress Billing Enhancement

Users can now combine multiple Progress Billing line items with the same due date into a single invoice in Customer Invoice & Credit Memo (ARINV), streamlining milestone-based billing workflows.

Previously, only one line item could be invoiced at a time, resulting in repetitive manual steps. This update supports faster invoicing for orders involving multiple milestones due at the same time.

Enhancement – Receiving (RECV) Screen Integration with Inspection

As part of usability improvements, the Receiving (RECV) screen now includes direct links to Inspection Queue (INSP) and Receiving Inspection (RINS) under the More Actions → Related section.

UI Enhancement – Preserve Row Highlighting on Hover in Queues

In the updated theme for Made2Manage 8.x, visual row highlights in screens like Shipping Queue (SCIFS) and Planned Purchase Queue (PLNPOQ) were previously obscured when the user hovered the mouse over a row, causing the row to appear light gray and masking the color-coded status indicators (e.g., short, credit issues).

With this update, row hover behavior has been adjusted to preserve the original highlight color, restoring the visual clarity present in earlier versions such as 7.51. This change improves user awareness during navigation and reduces the chance of accidental actions due to lost visual cues.

UI Enhancement – Redesigned Interaction Flow for SFMWC (Shop Floor Manager Work Center Console)

To improve usability in the Work Center Console (SFMWC) screen, the JO Details pane has been moved to the Actions column and can be opened by clicking the eye icon. This allows the job order grid to use the full screen width by default.

Additionally, user actions such as Clock On Job, Clock Off Job, Clock On Team, Clock Off Team, JO Complete, Issue Material, and Move To Inventory now open in popup dialogs, ensuring all fields and buttons are fully visible without requiring users to scroll.

The issue occurs during the selection and transfer of multiple JOs and is only reproducible in customer databases with high job volumes. Performance should now match that of previous versions.
