Reconcile a bank account

You can clear withdrawals, deposits, and add miscellaneous transactions to reconcile your bank account against the statement you receive from the bank.

Before you reconcile your accounts for the first time, clear all checks added before the earliest check on your bank statement. For more information, see “Clear existing checks” in the Related Information.

To reconcile a bank account

  1. Set up statement information
  2. Clear withdrawals.
  3. Clear deposits.
  4. Add miscellaneous transactions.
  5. Change a statement’s status to reconciled.
