Change or remove an account
You can change information about an account, except for its category and account number. You can remove an account if it has no activity and no sub-accounts.
To change or remove an account

Open the Chart of Accounts Maintenance (GLMAST) page.
a. Select Financial Management > Master Data > Chart of Accounts Maintenance.
Or
b. Search for GLMAST in the Navigation box and then select Chart of Accounts Maintenance.
The Chart of Accounts Maintenance (GLMAST) page appears.

On the Toolbar, click Browse.
The Browse For Chart of Accounts Maintenance window appears.

Select the row that contains the required account, and click Select. Or, double-click the row that contains the required account.
Click Cancel to exit from the Browse For Chart of Accounts Maintenance window.

To change the account:
a. Make your changes.
b. On the Toolbar, click Save. The changes are saved.

To remove the account:
a. Click Delete against the account you want to delete.
A message, Are you sure you would like to delete this record? appears.
b. Click OK to delete.
Click Cancel to retain the account.
