Check an account's balances in multiple currencies

You can check an account’s balances in multiple currencies.

Negative currencies or values are displayed in theAccount Balance Inquiry (GLAINQ) page according to the format setup in the Country/Currency Formats (CURR) page.

To check an account’s balance in multiple currencies:

  1. Open the Account Balance Inquiry (GLAINQ) page.

    a. Select Financial Management > Financial Transactions > General Ledger > Account Balance Inquiry.

    Or

    b. Search for GLAINQ in the Navigation box and then select Account Balance Inquiry.

    The Account Balance Inquiry (GLAINQ) page appears.

  2. Select the account:

    a. On the Toolbar, click Browse.

    The Browse For Account Balance Inquiry window appears.

    b. Select the required account row and click Select.

    Or

    Double-click the account you want to view.

  3. Select the transactional currency:

    a. Click the Transactional Currency lookup reference button.

    The Lookup For Transactional Currency window appears.

    b. Select the required currency row and click Select.

    Or

    Double-click the required currency row.

  4. To view account balances:

    Balances appear in both the functional and transactional currencies.

    a. To view the current fiscal year’s balances, click the Current Fiscal Year tab.

    b. To view the previous year’s balances, click the Prior Fiscal Year tab.

  5. To view the transaction details for the current year, click the Current Fiscal Year Transaction Detail tab.
