Add an item to an invoice
You can add line items to invoices that are new or unpaid.
To add an item to an invoice
- Open the Customer Invoices & Credit Memo (ARINV) page.
Select Financial Management > Financial Transactions > Accounts Receivable > Customer Invoices & Credit Memo.
Or

Search for ARINV or Customer Invoices & Credit Memo in the Navigation box and then select Customer Invoices & Credit Memo.
Customer Invoices & Credit Memo (ARINV) page appears.

Click the Line Items tab.

On the grid toolbar, click New.

Specify the item’s details:

Add the part.
» To add a standard part:
Click the Part Number lookup reference.
The Lookup For Part Number window appears.
Highlight a row and click Select. Or, double-click the required part.
» To add a non-standard part:
Select the Non Standard Item check box.

Type identifying information for the part in the Part Number
and Description fields.
- In the Invoiced field, enter the invoiced quantity or click the Cal- culator icon to open the calculator and select a value.
- In the Unit Price field, specify the unit price or click the Calculator icon to open the calculator and select a value.
- In the Discount Percentage (%) or Discount Amount field, specify discount information or click the Calculator icon to open the calculator and select a value.
- From the Unit of Measure list, select the unit of measure.

Specify the tax information for the item:
» If your company uses geographic based taxes: -
Select the Taxable check box.
- Click the Jurisdiction lookup reference button. The Lookup For Jurisdiction window appears.
- Highlight the required row and click Select. Or, double-click the required jurisdiction.
» If your company uses product based taxes:

Select the Taxable check box.

If the item is a non-standard item, click the Jurisdiction lookup ref- erence button and select a jurisdiction.

Specify the sales GL account number:

Click the Sales GL Number lookup reference.
The Lookup For Sales GL Number window appears.
- Highlight the required row and click Select. Or, double-click the general ledger category for the item.

On the Toolbar, click Save.
