Receive items with multiple lot numbers

You can keep track of lot numbers for goods you receive. Follow these steps to receive items with multiple lot numbers.

To receive items with multiple lot numbers

1. Open the Receiving (RECV) page.

   1. Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Inventory > Receiving > Receiving.

      Or

   2. Search for RECV or Receiving in the Navigation box and then select Receiving.

      Receiving (RECV) page appears.

2. Record the quantity of items you receive.

   See the ** for instructions.

3. In the grid, highlight the item row.

4. Click the ellipsis under the Action column.

5. Select Grid Accessories > Grid Actions > Lot/SN Detail.

   The Lot/SN Detail window appears.

6. To set information about the lot:

   1. On the grid toolbar, click New.

   2. Type the lot control number in the Lot/SN field.

      Or, type the Lot control number in the Lot/SN column.

   3. Type the number of items for each lot control number in the Quantity Received field.

      Or, click the icon at the end of the Quantity Received field. This displays the calculator. Select an appropriate value.

   4. Select the Enable Auto Generate Lot/SN check box to generate lot numbers.

      Lot/SN appears in the grid.

7. Click Save on the toolbar.

   Click Cancel to exit.
