Freeze an entire job order's start or end date

After you generate and select a schedule, you can freeze the start or end dates of a job order as they appear on the current selected schedule.

Freezing a job order’s start or end dates freezes the start or end dates of all operations in the job order.

To freeze a job order’s start or end dates, you must first select a schedule.

To freeze an entire job’s start or end date

  1. Open the Modify Job Schedule/Status (JOSCHD) page.

    1. Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Shop Floor > Modify Job Schedule/Status.

      Or

    2. Search for JOSCHD or Modify Job Schedule/Status in the Navigation box and then select Modify Job Schedule/Status.

      Modify Job Schedule/Status (JOSCHD) page appears.

  2. On the Toolbar, click Browse.

    The Browse For Modify Job Schedule/Status window appears.

  3. Select the row that contains the required job order, and click Select. Or double-click the row that contains the required job order.

    Click Cancel to exit from the Browse For Modify Job Schedule/Status window.

  4. To freeze the scheduled start or end dates for a job order and all operations in the job order:

    In the header, select the Freeze check box.

  5. To unfreeze the scheduled start or end dates for all operations in a job:

    In the header, clear the Freeze check box.

  6. On the Toolbar, click Save to keep your changes.

    Or on the Toolbar, click Cancel to discard the changes.
