Freeze a single operation's start or end date

After you generate and select a schedule, you can freeze an operation’s start or end dates.

To freeze an operation’s start or end dates, you must select a schedule.

To freeze a single operation’s start or end date

  1. Open the Modify Job Schedule/Status (JOSCHD) page.

    1. Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Shop Floor > Modify Job Schedule/Status.

      Or

    2. Search for JOSCHD or Modify Job Schedule/Status in the Navigation box and then select Modify Job Schedule/Status.

      The Modify Job Schedule/Status (JOSCHD) page appears.

  2. On the Toolbar, click Browse.

    The Browse For Modify Job Schedule/Status window appears.

  3. Select the row that contains the required job order, and click Select. Or, double-click the row that contains the required job order.

    Click Cancel to exit from the Browse For Modify Job Schedule/Status window.

  4. For each operation for which you want to freeze the scheduled start or end dates:

    1. In the grid, select the operation.

    2. In the Operation Details section, select the Freeze check box to freeze an operation.

    3. On the Toolbar, click Save.

  5. For each operation for which you want to unfreeze the scheduled start or end dates:

    1. In the Operation Details section, clear the Freeze check box.

    2. On the Toolbar, click Save.

      Or click Cancel to discard the changes.

      The Freeze check box in the header of the page is used to freeze the entire job.

      You cannot unfreeze a single operation when the entire job is frozen. To unfreeze the operation, you must first unfreeze the entire job.
