Company Setup

The Company Setup tab of the Setup (SFMSETUP) page allows to select the settings you want to use for all the facilities in the company.

To set up Company

  1. Open the Setup (SFMSETUP) page.

    Select Production Management > Production Transactions > Shop Floor > Setup.

    Or

  2. Search for SFMSETUP or Setup in the Navigation box and then select Setup.

    The Setup (SFMSETUP) page appears.

  3. Click the Company Setup tab.

    The following fields appear under the Company Setup tab.

FieldDescription
Display FacilitySelect this check box if you want the Facility list to display at the top of the Work Center Console (SFMWC) page, so users can change facilities.
Include SO Demand In Material StatusSelect this check box if you want to include the demand from sales orders in the Material Availability.
Not Using ‘Used In Oper’ And Want Material Short To Show On All Oper- ationsSelect this check box if you want to override the Used in Op option set on the JODBOM window and display material shortage on all operations. The material shortage displays in the Work Center Console for each job where there is shortage. If it is cleared, then the material shortage displays at the beginning until the operation is complete or short on the operation it is Used In only.
Allow Editing Of PrioritySelect this check box if you want the supervisor console users to be able to change the priority on a job operation.
DisplaySelect this check box to exclude the parts from displaying on the Excluded Parts On BOM Material Availability Lists.
Days Of Labor History To StoreType the number of days of employee or team clocking information that you want to keep. Made2Manage stores this information in tables for support purposes if needed.
Display JO Arriving TabSelect this check box if you want the JOs Arriving tab to be visible on the Work Center Console page.
Issue Materials - Display All Items TabSelect this check box if you want to display the All Items tab in the Issue Material To Operation section present in the Issue Material tab of the Work Center Console. You can use the All Items tab to issue miscellaneous items.
Enable Non-ConformanceWhen selected, users can raise a Non-Conformance Request (NCR).
Create NCR by DefaultOn the SFMWC page, if the Create NCR by Default option is selected, an NCR is created automatically. If the option is cleared, users must create an NCR manually.

Note: If Enable Non-Conformance is cleared, the Create NCR option will not be displayed in related screens.

  1. On the Toolbar, click Save to save the company settings, else click Cancel.
  2. Click the User Work Centers tab to select the work centers.
