Accounts [CUST] - Assign a currency to a customer or vendor

A default currency is the primary currency in which a customer or vendor does business. You must assign default currencies before you can begin working with multiple currencies.

Assign a currency to a customer

To assign a currency to a customer

  1. Open the Accounts (CUST) page.

    a. Select Sales Management > Master Data > Accounts.

    Or

    b. Search for CUST or Accounts in the Navigation box and then select Accounts.

    The Accounts (CUST) page appears.

  2. On the Toolbar, click Browse.

    The Browse For Accounts window appears.

  3. Select the row that contains the required customer, and click Select.

    Or, double-click the row that contains the required customer.

  4. Click the Financial Information tab.

  5. In the Terms section, click the Currency Lookup Reference.

    The Lookup For Currency window appears.

  6. Select the row that contains the required currency, and click Select.

    Or, double-click the row that contains the required currency.

  7. On the Toolbar, click Save to save your changes.

Assign a currency to a vendor

To assign a currency to a vendor

  1. Open the* Vendors (VEND) page.

    a. Select Production Management > Master Data > Vendor > Vendors.

    Or

    b. Search for VEND or Vendors in the Navigation box and then select Vendors.

    The Vendors (VEND) page appears.

  2. On the Toolbar, click Browse.

    The Browse For Vendors window appears.

  3. Select the row that contains the required vendor, and click Select.

    Or, double-click the row that contains the required vendor.

  4. Click the Additional Information tab, and then click the Default Currency Lookup Reference.

    The Lookup For Default Currency window appears.

  5. Select the row that contains the required currency, and click Select.

    Or, double-click the row that contains the required currency.

  6. On the Toolbar, click Save to save your changes.
